I think Google shut it down again. Earlier this evening there was an invite link on my Google+ page, and now the link is gone.

Mines gone now too. Sent about 15 invites though.

I just saw the twitter post.....didn't notice the time. Was hoping some more of you guys could get it. Have you tried just logging in?? That's what the tweet said do. No invite needed.

I got a few people saying that they're getting the "exceeded capacity" message again. Don't get discouraged though people, I got invited and then like 3 days later was when I was able to join. They will open the invites again.

For all the people who PM'ed me after Google shut down the invites, I'm just holding on to their email addresses and will add them after the invites open up again.

I tried to join today, but am getting the exceeded capacity message as well. It sounds like the same will happen if someone invites me in...so guess I will have to wait and just keep checking back.

yeah definitely not allowing people to join now and they are blocking any invites or messages I try to share. Oh well, hopefully it opens up soon.

Well it was just a screencap of Facebook saying my account was "temporarily unavailable" all morning. I just checked now and it works again. I thought it was interesting since I've been posting status updates about Google+ how-tos a lot lately.

Seriously? Ok, talk about conspiracy...I made a post on FB trying to convince most of my friends and family on there to join Google+ asap. It got a crap load of comments (almost 300 lol). I wake up this morning and my post had been DELETED! I had tons of text messages when I woke up, asking me why I deleted my post about it because other family members hadn't got to check out the site yet. An email has been sent to FB's Support Center to get to the bottom of this. Now of course, I'm not "accusing" FB of doing it. However, I know I didn't delete it. Crazy stuff going on here with FB and Google!!!! FB users beware!!

Same thing happened to me. I posted on FB something to the affect the I had sent out some invites to people that I though would enjoy Google+ and if you wanted one let me know.

Now it's gone.
