I have to say, coming from galaxy s2, this update was a pita, i signed up to the forum just to say, after many attempts and many matts utility reinstalls, i finally waited till after 0 error, rebooted to recovery and installed from sd again WITHOUT wiping cache, worked fine (weird load the first time but after reboot its great!)

It worked. I did find that all apps that I had used App2SD to move are not seen as installed so will have to clear the SD card and re-download. That may be part of what is causing the errors for others too. I'd move all apps back and uninstall apps2sd before trying the update.

Apps2sd could very well be causing issues. It does things that are around the OS standard.

after it locked up on the install i just did the reset wiped the cash and just did it again. it worked perfectly. thank you so much guys

Yeah, my phone was on that "boot patch" line for like fifteen minutes. I went back to recovery and wiped the cache twice again then reloaded. I have just made my first post using ICS 211.

Reverted from rooted ICS 6.14.75 to rooted GB 6.12.181 using Matt's awesome RAZR Utility

In my efforts to use Matts Utility 1.7, all I get is "The system cannot find the path specified".

Anyone have a solution for this?
