My S4 is fine. KNOX and Verizon make it not so good. I would have bought a G2 had Verizon not made it different than the other carriers.

G2 FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Love my G2. Dont regret it even one bit! Except the missing SD card slot but i never really used it the more i think about. Just had random things stored there that i never used. G2 FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like to see the G2 love in here ..great device for sure ..I trust the opinions of my friends on staff across the forums ..

Maybe I just have a crappy G2 since so many folks like theirs so much. I still use my G2 now and then just for a change, it has some cool things about it, like Knock-knock, the UI, and the back buttons. But it's some other things about it that turn me off and stop it from being a top choice. It's possible that I just have a bad one.

The GPS is weak and it won't lock while in a car or under awnings like other phones can. Heck, it has trouble outdoors on a really cloudy day. The camera cannot consistently take good pictures indoors, I have to take 2 or 3 pics of everything I shoot to get a focused one with the right exposure. The IR blaster is extremely narrow and it's difficult sometimes to get it pointed just right to use it. I have to crank the display brightness up to around 80% to make it look good and that really sucks battery power. And it's not a big deal but the screen is really around 4.8 not 5.2 because of the nav buttons. And, it doesn't have the sensors or SD card that the S4 has.

I do want to try a Moto X soon.

Surprisingly, I had to vote for the Moto X. :) My last 4 phones have been Samsung (S3, Note2, S4, Note3) and while they were all great, I love what Moto did with the X8 architecture in the phone. They're able to do more with less horsepower and that's a pretty revolutionary step in mobile phone technology. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little bigger, maybe the size of the S4. Other than that, I love everything about it.

That is my only issue with it ..how can I even look at the screen after enjoying the size on the N3 ..it's a great device for sure ...

My vote goes for the Note 3 - but sadly I haven't even looked at any of the other devices other than light reading about specs and such, no hands on activity at all - nothing has swayed me to switch :)...

I was really pulling for the Moto X until launch when I was underwhelmed. I was using an S4 until last week. I got the Moto X on Tuesday and I'll say this, RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX the Moto X is a far better experience than the S4. However, the ability to run a custom ROM like CM is a great advantage but the kicker is this... With the Moto X I haven't felt the need to change the OS.

None of the Moto X features strike me as gimmicky, can I say that about the S4... Nope. From the water drop default 'life companion' sound effects to the 'kitchen sink' features, the S4 just felt like it was trying too hard with little to show for it.

I should have purchased the Moto X on its release day instead of the S4.

I bought a Developer Edition X just so I could easily do everything I like to do with my phones. Funny thing is, like you, I haven't had a need to change anything yet. It's been great out of the box. :)

I voted for the HTC One, but am really happy to be getting my Moto X (delivered yesterday). The HTC One has one very annoying feature, the HTC logo in the middle. The Home button should have been in the middle, heck, it could have been the HTC logo.

I love that it has an IR blaster, something I've been wanting since the OG Droid. I love the Zoe feeds. I think the camera is great. Build quality is top notch.

The HTC One, is the one. GN3 is too big for me, even though I am 6'3, with large hands, I don't want a device that big in my pocket. S4...well, everyone and their momma have the S4; it's a gorgeous phone, but too many have it.

The Moto X has a smaller screen, I wanted at least 5", and the Moto X, doesn't have an IR blaster, but the X was affordable out of pocket, and available for Verizon. It's beautifully designed, and seems ultra buttery smooth.

Don't forget to open Google Drive from your Moto X before mid-January. (I can't remember the exact date) When you do it, it will give you an extra 50GB of Google Drive space free for the next 2 years.
