Initial Observations:
First of all, I'm super stoked the LV kernel worked for me. I've tried every LV kernel I could get my hands on and none of them worked. Imagine my surprise when my droid didn't get stuck on the M. Woot!!
Im relieved they got rid of the "rolly" animation for the apps drawer in the stock launcher. That thing was annoying and it took uneeded FPS from the UI. The UI itself seems snappy enough, although I'm sure ADW or Launcher PRO will work TOPS with this build.
Marketplace is not working (2.2 thing) Team Chaos has a market fix that tricks the marketplace into thinking the build is 2.1 by changing certain keys in the build.prop file. I'll try the fix later after class.
I'll configure the UI later on tonight and mess around with it more, but for now I've gotta back it up and go back to my normal build and head to class. So far, it's impressive.
