[Official] Liberty 2.0 Bug Reports

Wish I had the know how to do that kind of stuff but I wouldn't know where to begin.

The only bug I've found so far (aside form the settings bug) has been Google Voice not updating. When it first installed it said there was an update that failed to install for Voice. I have been notified of the update again since then and it still doesn't install. Voice works fine, but for some reason it can't update.

Yep yep I noticed that too on my phone too and I still can't update Google voice and I'm still on 1.5 till 2.0 is officially released

Idk if this is liberty or Google's problem but when I use the gingerbread keyboard to type something into Google's top search bar, it always jumps down to the bottom search bar... idk it appears random and started only when I used gingerbread keyboard

Cannot find the new theme or wallpaper in the rom at all :/

Also cannot install zips through the bootstrap. (Trying to do the swype fix) it gets to installing package and the progress bar is completely frozen (more than 10 minutes)

That sounds like a bad file. Have you tried with some other zip?

So I scanned the bug report but I admit to not reading them all, so if this has been posted, let me know. Anyway, among other, inconsequential annoyances, every time I would install a font from the toolbox, reboot to save changes, I would lose functionality of the home key. Anyone else come across this? It took me a while to narrow it down to this cause, so I'm pretty certain. Back to 1.5 until I see some improvements or a gb based release.

*edit* I did wipe before install, and it was consistant to the point of it happened EVERY time I changed the font and rebooted.

That sounds like a bad file. Have you tried with some other zip?

I did, and I just now got one to work. Did the stockd2 swype from the epic blue thread, but cannot get the theme for swype (black w/ blue glow) to do anything. I'm guessing I'm being stupid and doing it wrong haha.

I am on a droid 2, any app purchased from the amazon app store fails to load after a restart. This was happening in 1.5 also, i did a wipe data/cache before install. Anybody got a fix for this?

Okay so I don't know if this is a bug or something I did but I lost some of my apps last nite and one of them was my market app! The only thing I have done recently was updated my rom manager. So I went to do a restore from my backup and when it was finished I still had no market. Thank god with the new liberty toolbox it kept a copy of liberty 2.0 in the liberty/roms folder on my sd card! So I reinstalled and now everything is better! I was running the epic blue theme, do you think that may have done it? Maybe a glitch? Idk but thanks liberty crew for leaving a backup copy of liberty.

the first time i installed 2.0 i lost a bunch of apps also. market being one of them. i just reflashed the rom and everything was good.

Corp e-mail

One which is going to take me back to 1.5 is the corporate e-mail. I use this for work and I have been unable to configure the e-mail for my corporate e-mail. I tried downloading and installing the e-mail from the tools box and fixing permissions but still can't finish configuration. It will give me the error that it it unable to open connection to server.

I am unable to install anything from rom mananger in the toolbox. It says "Error: no such file or directory". Any ideas what is causing this?

I have noticed that when I installed Liberty 2.0 (or if I reinstall 1.5) it remembers my wallpaper. even if I do a full device/cache wipe. Am I doing something wrong? I wouldnt think it is suppose to remember things like that.

Just wanna make sure the sull wipe is working and I am starting from a clean slate for new ROM installs.

When I change the battery icon with metamorph the stock liberty 2.0 battery icon keeps appearing then changes to the new one I installed then changes back =(
