[Official] Nexus 6P cases Thread

How is it taking screenshots?

Spigen asked me for a photo/video of not being able to take screenshots with the Ultra Hybrid, so I provided them with this link.

Of course, I accidentally called it the Neo Hybrid (my old Note 4 case) and it managed to take one while filming. Also, crappy quality thanks to my tablet being my camera, but I think it still illustrates the point.

Not much actually. That was one of my concerns with throwing a case on it, was thickness. It actually makes the phone easier to handle. It also solved the issue where I kept touching the screen with my palm when one handing it.

My $2 Verus is great for me but it covers the phone. I bought Aluminum to show off. I don't want some cheap clear plastic though.

That's my only issue with it, it looks like every other phone now. But I already have a couple very small marks I noticed. I have a cheap clear one on the way so we'll see how that one does.

Haha! Well, you get what you pay for bud. $20's about my max. I figure that's reasonable for a case that fits well and provides some good protection.

Cost has always kept me from trying an Otterbox. Well, that, and bulk. For my usage, I've almost never felt like I should have something that intense to protect my device.

But I can't see spending more than $15-20 for one of these simple slip-on plastic/rubber cases. That just seems ridiculous to me. Like Google charging over $30 for the "official" cases. They look ok, but I'll never spend that kinda money on something that simple, especially since they have screenshot issues. Whoops...

I don't like the cost of these slip on cases either. The otterbox saved my maxx on a few tumbles down a hill on my arm. I'm not gentle with my toys. I spend $150 on trail shoes, just to run through mud/water that same day. I need my head checked.

Alright, I got my cheap clear case, very thin, very clear, fits tight, can take screenshots. It also gives a good grip. It probably won't do much as far as drop protection, I mostly got it for grip.

I have one more on the way from Spigen, the super thin one.
