I do think it will be the 15th. Like others have stated, I too have lost the excitement on this whole release.
Still excited over the phone, but not as much as I was a couple weeks ago... :crazy:

When it's released, you should go into the store, ask for the Galaxy Nexus with an exasperated tone, respond to their upsell pitches with icy glares, and when the transaction is over, hold up the box, look at it, then look at them, frown and shake your head disapprovingly. Then walk out the door, pause, turn back and look at them, and shake your head disapprovingly again. And then leave.

As much as I want to agree with this I can't, the people in the stores are just like us attempting to make ends meet. Even though I have met several of them you wonder why they even got into the business of customer service.

If you want to make a statement lets find out the phone numbers and email addresses of the execs that are making these awful decisions and blast them with everything we have to give them.

Those are a-holes that are deserving of our wrath of disapproval. Giving the poor guy/gal behind the counter a hard time will not affect any decision that the suits make.

Cool thanks for researching this, emails are going to going there way shortly.

It was almost Ironic that I was sent a text today reminding me of my upgrade and that it was important that I called to receive it.

Well when I called the # and asked for a nexus for my upgrade the rep paused as knowing what was going to happen next and it did.

I followed up with I have been waiting a long time for this to come out which is the reason I didn't get the razr and that it was the disappointing reviews of the bionic when it came out that I didn't get it as I have been eligible for my upgrade since July and really wanted a new phone.

The only response I got was "yea I am waiting on it myself, I hope they release it soon." I thanked the rep for his time and said I would be in touch when it is released.

I wonder what the November-December sales numbers will look like? They have to be losing a lot of sales over this crap.

Official because the store I called verified the 9th and then when I called back said it was delayed. Before that they disclaimed any knowledge of when it would come. They have credibility.

Just got a text from my contact at an authorized verizon retailer. He said he has the Nexus in stock and can sell it this Thursday, the 15th. Take it for what it's worth at this point. Not trying to thread jack, but I also didn't want to start another release thread.

I just called my contact at my local Verizon retail store (not a third-party) and he said the forum buzz is correct in the 15th being the proposed date, but he warned me not to count on it and he doesn't expect it to happen. He is planning on calling me as soon as he hears anything solid (half of us have heard that before, though). *shrug*
