I have a question for everyone that says their Droid is flying,
I've been running this rom for a week with no problems at all. Apps open fast, no redraws, and everything runs well. But when i try to move left or right on my home screens, it can be very slow. That is the only time I am having slow down issues. My question is, can you swipe through your home screens quickly and fluidly?
If so, I may need to re flash I guess. Can't think of anything else. I've tried several kernels. Also, if you have a kernel you suggest for better performance, I'd love to hear what it is! I'm currently using Chevy 1.1LV.

No, I am having the same exact problem. Something with the launcher itself I think.
My screen transitions aren't the best, a little jerky. In Spare Parts there is a setting to increase the speed of transitions, which helps some.

how do you do an app backup properly for miui?

I personally use "appbackup" free from Market. Works Perfectly fine. I don't use TB much for anything except to install busybox so Metamorph can work properly..

is that free? ive never used it. its a pain in the ass to use TB if you dont have premium. if its free id go with that one then.
i just usually backup apps + data.

oops! /facepalm, read over it too quick. i may have to give this one a try. tb is great but idk. ill check this out to see how it works.

it's all good...Just make sure when your searching it on market, you spell it out as "appbackup" w/o quotes of course, and you'll see a black and white computer floppy disc logo w/a B on it. Honestly since installing that, I've never use TB to b/up or restore any apps. PM me if you have any questions using AB. It's relatively easy to use but am here to assist if need be

I've not had a chance to download anyother roms due to me just learning how to root and playing with basic root apps, but i have to say this rom is super sweet i love the way the phonebook is set up now i can organize my contacts a whole lot better than before. I did have to get the contact sync app but who cares the way you set this up rocks and makes it worth it.
The only thing ive come to see i miss so far is not having my voice search on the google search bar and in speach to text but other than that much kudos to yadancedroid

If you don't have access to a computer to download, under the preferences menu in Astro file manager enable all file types for browser download. I don't know why your browser isn't allowing the download, but your not the only one.
