[Official] Turbo 2 M update thread

You know better then that, 'Stang.
Was that with a strong data signal? The entire time?
What if you were traveling and driving down Detroit Road near Center Ridge where VZW's signal totally dies?
And what if you are a clueless user who takes the update and clicks "DOWNLOAD ANYWAY"?
Then your on the phone with VZW complaining that "an update ate my data."
There's NO good reason to allow updates over 4G. I am on VZW's side on that.

It's not that exciting of an update...you can wait til you fine some WiFi. :p
I was near the airport. Not strong but not weak. It was off an FTP server.
Where is Detroit and center ridge near each other? Where do you have a dead spot?

I'm on dover all the time. I shop at that heinens in bay.

I've never noticed a problem. I'll check again this weekend.

I just noticed something that changed. The Moto app has changed quite a bit. Sleep mode was removed and implemented into the stock Android Do Not Disturb (DND) Settings. Driving Mode is still part of the Moto app, but finding it has changed, it's now at: Moto > Stars > Voice > Talk To Me > Driving.

Yea, there was a notice about DND being removed when I first booted up M.
That's OK. Same options there in G's DND.

Google Now On Tap is the new feature when you hold the home button. Pretty cool. I like it. It works on any screen, reads the screen and shows you Google Now cards. And from your Home screen it takes a screenshot and one click you can share it. [emoji41]

I like being able to choose what icons are in quick settings. Very nice.
Pull quick settings down. Hold the gear until you get a message about UI Tuner.
Then you'll have a new option at the bottom of options.

More color options in the Command Center widget also. Thanks Pere. I read about UI Tuner...time to check that out.
