Ok... 2.2 + Task Killers. Yes or No?

Im very confused. I hear that 2.2 dosent work with ATK. On the D2 forums some people say install ATK (they have 2.2) I've read all the threads against ATK's. One of the Verizon techs I was working with to solve an issue said to me.... "use a ATK we all do in the tech department, what does that tell you". *bangs head on desk* gah!

In short... As long as the OS is android then a task killer is a BIG no.

The only usefulness to them is to kill unresponsive apps. But that can be done with the native "running apps" option most of the time.

It doesn't matter which phone we are talking about. The answer for task killers is always very debatable and the same.

We have tons of task killing threads so I'm going to refer you to this and close this thread. I will say that I have heard from many people that 2.2 is creating havoc with these rather useless apps.
