Those with gps issues, disable it and enable all location services. Turn off one by one to see which is the culprit. I to have had gps issues stock and custom roms. I play with the location settings a bit and it ends up working just fine.

Just a couple issues I need help with that hopefully are operator error:
1) no visual Voicemail app. I tried flashing back to stock and saving the one there then flashing back, but every time I try to restore it, TiBU seems to freeze up.
2) Google music app force closes when it tries to load a song from Google's servers. It was fc'ing all the time until I cleared the app data. Do I need to re-install and clear app data again? Will try that anyway, and report back.
Otherwise, great job to pedwards and buckmarble
really loving this rom. Since picking up the D3 and before flashing this rom, i've never seen the phone both smooth AND responsive at the same time.

Google fcs due to block ads. Unblock them and you should be good. Try just copy and paste and set permissions with root browser for vvm.

Sorry, still a little new to this...copy what file from where to what folder? I found an apk in system/app, but it failed to install. Also, where would I go to unblock ads? Other than the option in the stock browser, I haven't done anything in regards to ad-blocking.
EDIT: ok, nevermid about the ad-blocking, figured it out.
EDIT2: did a search for "voicemail" on the forums and one of the threads that came up was steel Droid for D3. Downloaded the add-on pack they had there, and installed via recovery, and have voicemail up and running again

im loving 2.0...i just have one request/question maybe if its not hard someone can walk me through it...I miss the volume rocker feature to change songs while the phones in my pocket at work...im always in a kitchen with nasty **** on my hands i cant touch the phone too much...so i still carry around my d1...is there any simple way for me to flash something over the rom that will enable this or is it as involved as i think it is lol...i dont mind carrying 2 phones that would just put my d1 to rest..
also if someone knows of an app that can enable the volume rocker controls thatd be sweet..

I did, but I also used Ti Backup to restore apps/data. Now I'm thinking that wasn't the best idea :-( I figured since I was coming from Liberty which is a GB based ROM, that I could do that with no ill effect, but now I'm thinking that wasn't the best idea. Guess I'll have to wipe, and try again. Maybe I'll try flashing over my current install without wiping?
At least I know it's an issue for me. Actually, I just thought about repairing permissions - maybe that will fix me up..
Wipe again. Restoring data with tibu is a big no no for system apps.

i love the rom but is there anyway to change it from saying maverick on the lock screen and the pull down bar i dont like people think i am in love with maverick when the see my phone i know there is the droid junk theame but i just want maverick off or changed
