So why would the older djmod not work? I primarily used it for the toggles and because I could edit all the colors
I made a lot of edits in the new framework coding and that coding has to be ported over. If you flash it, stuff will break.

Flash 2.5, go through the themes and see what you like.

Okai, I might try it. It's just that I use orientation and data toggles... you guys don't use these?
No we don't use them. There are toggles for these available in the market. If you use those instead, it gives you the flexibility to switch themes all the time.

This was addressed earlier. In this case, there are major framework differences which can cause issues. It just depends on how much/what gets changed, as to whether or not you have to wipe.

installed VerizonBanner from AOSP HTC theme, which in fact installed the theme also, and now, no matter what theme i try to install, it still keeps the AOSP HTC theme.
any ideas?

Personally, the only toggle I really ever use is the vibrate mode. :biggrin:
If you install the VZW banner, it will install whatever theme you are on the page of. i.e. If you are on the GB AOSP Theme page and choose "Install VZW banner", you will get the GB AOSP Theme with the Verizon Banner.
In your specific case, open the Maverick Toolbox, choose "Clear Downloads" -- then try to install another theme. This should resolve your issue.
Just an FYI.
Avalon and ICS Themes include boot animations and fonts. If you install one of these and later want to go back to the stock MavROM boot ani & font, flash the Dark Theme.

So when I use the ICS theme, can I restore homescreen 1.0.0.106 with Titanium backup to restore my shortcut placement? (like I always do), or does it use another homescreen?
