Remove the system/etc/recovery folder from the rom update.zip and reflash the rom, no wipe. That folder was in there for safestrap 1.02 and can mess things up with v1.04.

Safestrap Question: I flashed the ROM with safestrap v1.04. When I open up safestrap it says that it is v1.02. I am trying to install v1.04 from Root Explorer but I keep getting the message "Application not installed". How do I install v1.04? If I can't install it will I be able to restore my backup that was made prior to flashing the ROM? Thanks.

I believe from what buck is saying is that you need to flash the rom again; but omit the file from the zip file before you do.

Loving this rom! Do you know whats up with the stock messaging app download? Also whats going on with universal inbox and widgets? Its nice to have email and text messages in one widget consolidated. Kinda miss that coming from stock. I dont think there is a .894 system dump to pull it from.

Did you install 1.04 from stock? Or from another rom?

I installed 1.04 from stock. But since I installed Maverick I had started up safestrap 1.02 and clicked on the install recovery button.

So...they got this new google music...4.0.9...cept when I try dl'ing it tells me the package file is invalid. Does this have something to do with the rom, having 4.0.1 currently, or is it just the market and my phone argueing?? Im bummed I can't get the new music app, ill sfb and get it in my tb backup if I need to

i just got the dl and had the same thing happen...i went to it in the market and hit update and it went through it again and this time it worked perfectly..

I installed 1.04 from stock. But since I installed Maverick I had started up safestrap 1.02 and clicked on the install recovery button.

Go to system/app and delete Safestrap, reboot, and then install Safestrap 1.04. That should do it. It worked for me.

Delete safestrap from system/app first, reboot, and then install safestrap 1.04. That worked for me.
