Older....Official D1-MIUI-0.12.3.2

It's funny when people first flash MIUI coming from the conventional Droid Roms out there....it totally throws them off!! lol!! It's like "Woah, this isn't what I'm used to"...lol

That the beauty of it man. Totally unique!! I let go of any launchers with app drawers back in the 10.29 build. They take away from the MIUI experience in my opinion. :)

I don't think I'm the only one having this problem, but hopefully I'll be able to state it clearly enough that someone can provide me with a solution.

I flashed the 11.26 update (then went back, wiped, flashed 11.19 and then flashed 11.26 over it without wiping to fix notifications), and the MMS app in either configuration doesn't allow me to download photos/videos/etc to my SD card. I long-press the photo/video and instead of the normal list of options that included "Copy attached to SD card", there are only four or five little graphical choices. I tried the copy one, and while it says "Texts copied", I don't really know what it's done, but nothing was downloaded to my SD card. Is this normal, or something only a select few of us are experiencing? And is it fixed in 12.03?

I actually flashed the 11.05 MMS timestamp fix, which just takes you back to an older MMS.apk, and that allowed me to download photos and whatnot, but it doesn't support the theming options present in 11.26, which I really liked.

My advice is to wipe throughly, and freshly install 12.3. Works nicely.

The only problem that I had after install was getting a message that my SMS inbox was full and out of memory. Yet there were no messages there. Rebooted and all is well. Run into low memory after flash. had this for the past 3 builds. I used Titanium backup to move some apps to the SD card took care of that.

With the rotation, personally, I like that it doesn't rotate and yet, I can use the rotate function to rotate apps. Very cool.

For those new to MIUI like we all were at one time, take your time to read the UI guide posted on the forum. It will give you the basics of the UI.

To remove backups, long press on them in MIUI backup app, and delete.

:icon_evil: when I installed the weather and news widget my wallpaper is just black and I can't change it. the settings show it to be the right one but the screen is just black.
edit: had to switch to a live wallpaper and then switch back to the one I wanted.

I cant get dungeon hunter to play. What is the best way to free up a ridiculous amount of memory?

For what you want to use the Droid for, I'd get an X and step up to 512MB man. lol
But to free memory I use cache cleaner for root users. Works good. I also use Advanced task killer, but lots of people would tell you not to. My phone runs much faster clearing out the running apps. Don't forget MIUI has an app killer bulit in too.

I doubt ill ever be able to get the game to play on MIUI. The system kills to many apps to easily. I cant even get the app to work even though its made for the moto droid and I reboot so there are no other apps running.

SMS send button, sure is look close small button bottom right just outside of the text box.
