REQUEST:

Was wondering if their would be anyway to add a Reboot into Recovery option into the MIUI rom when you long press the power button.

This option is added into android.policy.jar

There is another thread that a guy added reboot so i asked the guy to either add the reboot to recovery option or tell me how. Im gonna see what he says. I want to learn to edit the framework anyways so its a win win.

Anyone have an issue with the phone not recieving calls. I've called my phone 4x from my wife's and not once did my phone pick it up as a missed call. It went straight to voicemail saying the current caller wasn't available.

I can however call out from my phone just fine.

Can anyone that may have a fix to this please reply, I am having the same issue. Thanks

Sounds like you both might need to reflash the theme. Ive had zero problems with the phone since this rom was first released. Make sure you flash 12.3.0 first the boot up and then flash 12.3.2

I think you have to go into Astro and go to preferences, scroll to the bottom and enable browser downloads. If you don't have Astro then I can't help.

Download Astro file manager. Then launch it and hit menu and go to more. Scroll down and you should all browser to download or something like that and your good to go.

I have to say this version of MIUI seems to be the best I've used so far. No lagging and seems to be more stable! Great job metiCkOne and jamezelle!

I don't get how no one thinks the stock launcher is laggy. Compare the smoothness to launcher pro and you'll see. The stock is faaaar behind in terms of coding.

It is not the smoothest, however they just started using hardware acceleration, and its still in Beta. The other features make up for any "lag". Use launcher pro if super smooth is what you desire. I'm guessing by the time this is out of Beta it will be smoothed out.

it may be smoother SOMETIMES, but mine is pretty smooth using the stock launcher. compared to the stock launcher, Launcherpro is so ugly. just takes up more space too

same here. running nice, pretty cool too. oc'ed with SetCPU

Yes, smooth and fast for me as well. Also on another note the 2.3 keyboard works on this rom if anyone was wondering. But before installing make sure you have the stock keyboard installed. And for me choosing the 2.3 keyboard to get rid of FC's did not save on reboot ie; I have to choose the keyboard on every reboot.
