Pete Lau, founder and CEO of OnePlus made some comments on the Chinese social network Weibo recently. What he had to say/ask basically confirmed that the OnePlus Two is coming. It also gave a few hints as to what hardware may be inside and what price-point the company is considering for the device. The OnePlus One co-founder, Carl Pei, took to Twitter with the same conversation.
They both asked "If the OnePlus 2 comes with the @Snapdragon 810, how much should we charge for it?" Obviously there were some folks suggesting they offer it at the same price as the OnePlus One, but one fellow honestly suggested $399, and that price seemed to satisfy them.
This is hardly conclusive, but it does at least indirectly confirm they plan to introduce the OnePlus Two (which was hardly a surprise). It also hints at the internal hardware and possible price-point. What do you guys think? Would the phone still be a bargain at that price?
