Only getting first 160 characters?

Ok so one of my friends is on a different network, virgin mobile. Usually whenever she sends me a text message with more than 160 characters, i only get the first part. My phone shows a (1/2) at the beginning of the message, so it knows that there are two parts, but i never seem to receive them. Is this her phones or my phones fault? And if its mine, what can i do to fix it? Thanks!

Welcome to CDMA Networks. Damn 160 char limit. :icon_rolleyes:

Use Handcent or similar SMS app to automatically split large messages.
