Opt-out ads

Hi. Does anyone else receive those opt+ out ads that pop-up on your notification bar? It's like a text msg. I never open them for fear of them getting wildly out of control, or getting more than one at a time from every advertiser getting my address from just looking at one.

How do I get rid of them without opening one? Thanks.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I did dnld Airpush Detector and tried it; it didn't detect anything. So I dnld'd Airpush Finder instead and it found the culprit, a ringtone app, right away. I thank you for the idea of what to dnld tho.

If anyone tries to detect these airpush ad with Airpush Detector and it doesn't find anything, go to Airpush Finder. I knew exactly which app was sending me these ads. I decided to test the waters. I downloaded Airpush Detector, it failed to find any apps that send push ads. I downloaded Airpush Finder, it found the exact app that I thought was giving me the issue. I removed that app and haven't had any issues! These forums are amazing. Definitely my go-to when having an phone issue.

I installed Airpushpermanentoptout and now use those apps minus their notifications. It was free on the Play store.
