Original and New Motorola Bionic Comparison Options

One question I have not seen yet is will this support voice/data same time in 3g same as the thunderbolt? (The thunderbolt is currently ONLY device that supports voice/data same time in 3G mode) yes I know the 4G devices can do this in 4G but the thunderbolt as it stands today is the only phone that can do this in 3G and its due to having multiple radios.

I'm getting this or Droid 3. I like the keyboard of Droid 3, which I'm used too. However, when 4G does come to my neck of the woods, it'll be nice!

I'm thinking new Bionic!!!!!!!!! dancedroid

You also have to take into consideration the second picture is distorted some. So, in order to accurately to compare the two, u would need two accurate pictures.

I hope the battery is at least 1,930 mah.

I'm hoping. Or i'm gonna have to get the extended battery! :icon_evil:

Haha, I said extended!

I can't see for the life of me why they wouldn't keep at least the same size battery as the original. Those specs suggest they switched to a smaller battery which doesn't make sense. It has everything the original had so why not keep of the same?

That's what I was wondering too. The only thing I could think of is to maybe counter the higher cost of the other new features such as extra RAM. It might even be a space issue as well. Is a smaller capacity battery smaller than a larger capacity battery? If so did they need to go with a smaller battery to make a little more room for the extra RAM?

May be the Pentile screen uses less power so it does not need the bigger battery.

Actually I hear it's the OMAP that uses less power.

I think that site has some of the stuff messed up, says Dimensions4.96 x 2.63 x 0.52 (125.9 x 66.9 x 13.3 mm) then it says Physical Size4.30 inches.... last time I checked 4.3 is smaller than 4.96. But I could be wrong. I still want that phone.

Screen size is measured diagonally so it would stand to reason the height of the device is rather larger

Here is a question... Will it be Voi4G or whatever voice over 4G is? And if it doesn't is it just a software upgrade to get it?

FCC Documents said that it has simultaneous CDMA voice with LTE.

Motorola Droid Bionic Swings By FCC With Its LTE Radio?

Does this mean it will have VoLTE or svdo like the thunderbolt?

Probably the latter of the two since Verizon's 4G coverage isn't quite large enough for VoLTE.

It would be nice to have another phone with svdo besides the TB.

Though I believe the revolution can do VoLTE since it was demoed on it.

Looking at what that says...I think it just means you can talk on the phone at the same time as using LTE for data. So it's what we've previously seen from 4G phones.
