A screen shot from my Droid Pro. Interestingly enough, I have checked for a system update just about every day for the past six months. I woke up yesterday morning and it was being automatically downloaded to my phone. View attachment 41311
Here is how you can check: menu>settings>About Phone>Android Version. Froyo is 2.2XXXX, Gingerbread is 2.3XXX If you're running unrooted 2.2 then you should be able update to Gingerbread. If you're running unrooted 2.3 then you have sbf back to 2.26, flash the two previous updates (2.26 and 3.8.7) and then download and install the current update.

Seems to have installed fine, the issues right now are:
- All the apps I installed through the Amazon market aren't properly recognized so whenever I open them I get a message saying "Content not owned. The user is not entitled to this content." and force me to quit.
- I really liked that feature where you could quickly scroll between desktops by sliding at the bottom of the screen, any way to get that back?
