Out of internal storage

I've only downloaded a half dozen applications and when attempting to download the app for Droid Forums, I got a message I was out of storage room. Internal storage is almost full, but the SD card appears to be almost empty. How can I move my applications to the SD card and download future appliations there as well? Is their a performance issue having applications run from the SD card?

What are these 6 apps you installed? I have about 30 installed and still have over 3 gigs free. So, something is up.

Had the same problem. Go to Settings, Storage, Unmount SD card and then remount SD card. Then try reinstalling. Worked for me.

I had installed very few apps and I got a low storage message. I was really confused, I tried it again and got a file invalid or corrupt message, tried again and it went away. Hope it goes away for you, I highly doubt that you are out of space.

I turn my phone off and back on in the problem disappeared. You would think os for the android was a windows product
