No, I just starting messing with ROMs recently? Is there really a difference between the ROMs? I always assumed it was mostly just the look.

Oh, well, I think that some give you different build props, which I customize myself anyway. http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-x-hacks/77230-build-prop-edits-great-battery-life-fast-phone-full-market.htm Gives a nice explanation of it.

Some will also remove the bloatware, which is really easy. As long as you have root explorer. I don't have a linked bookmarked, but if you search on this forum it should return plenty of results.
