Before they became all pa car, I would agree. I hated working on oil field trucks. Man, go under the truck clean, come out black..just changing oil..have to put a clutch in..have oil soaked dirt in places we can't talk about here..good times.

Pete is an all aluminum body except for the lower windshield ( lack of better terms) support, kenworth uses extensive fiberglass. Hands down KW is a better truck. 20K difference proves that point.

Thats about it im not sure what engines are in our transports but the bobtails mostly have caterpillar engines i think 3 of them out of our yard have different ones if im not mistaken we have 1 cummins and 2 detroits

Parents are retiring in September. They've had this rig for the past 10 years, 110" sleeper. Over 3 million miles on the thing and still runs good. They transport high end vehicles. They had 6~ 2013 Jags on this load. Then everything from Maybachs to formula one cars & everything in between.

In Cali the car transport business was ran into the ground. Used to get 400 bucks per car to vegas, 250 miles, now you'd be lucky to get 80 per car.

Do you know what everybody does when your inside a cement barrel? Bang on the side of it with a freak'n hammer. Got volunteered to do rods and mains, what a disgusting job, but I can still hear. Huh what you say? Lol.

Yeah, big sleeper makes all the difference in the world. Running a two person team helps tremendously, as well as the company you work for. My parents have been real fortunate to work for this guy who owns Reliable. He really treats his drivers well.
