Phone will not ring on incoming calls, only vibrates:

This Worked for my X

1.Make sure the smart Profile:face down " feature is ON.
2. Hold the phone face up
3. call yourself from another phone(duh!)
4. As the phone vibrates "DO NOT ANSWER"
5. Still holding it Flip the phone face down as it vibrates
6. Then flip it face up again .
7. end the call from THE PHONE YOU ARE CALLING FROM
8. Leave the phone face up and call yourself again and VOILA!!
IT WORKED FOR ME SO I HOPE THE SAME FOR YOU GUYS!!!

Rod1025.... you are a lifesaver! I have also been trying for ever to get my phone to ring again! That did the trick! I was not wanting to do an entire reset, but it was getting very close to that! I consider myself to be a little phone savvy, but this was killing me! I am NOT droid savvy.... have no clue as to a lot of the things it can do, but to get it to ring, well, that seemed basic! Thanks for the info, now i can stop searching the forum until all hours of the night!dancedroid

I had the same issue. I turned on smart profile: face down and ever since then my phone only vibrated and didn't ring. I turned off smart profile, took out the battery and started the phone again. Still didn't fix it. I didn't want to do a reset so I tried setting smart profile again. While it was set, I called my phone and when it vibrated, i turned it upside down to invoke the smart profile. Once it sucessfully worked, it started ringing. YEAH! It seemed to be stuck half way???? Weird but glad to have my ring back after a week of trying to fix settings.
