Pictures not erasing from gallery

Try this:

Go to SETTINGS > APPLICATIONS > MANAGE APPLICATIONS

Select the ALL tab

Scroll down to MEDIA STORAGE

Select CLEAR DATA

Your phone will have to rebuild everything it knew about photos and music on your phone, but erased photos should no longer appear as thumbnails or icons.

I am having a similar issue but I am not sure so..any help would be appreciated.

On my Droid X i have this picture in the slideshow that was deleted but it is still showing up. I checked my files for this pic but I cant find it anywhere.

I looked and even did a reboot..so any suggestions would be helpful.
