Please help stuck in boot loop?

ok so i can access clockwork recovery and everything, but i don't have a backup rom on my phone.

is there a way i can download a rom to the computer then put it on the sd card?

You should be able to yes. If not use fastboot to install the stock img. Then from there mount usb and restart to clockwork recovery to install new rom

Well do your fasboot -w update image-mysid-icl53f.zip by download the stock image stickied in the thread under development how to return your galaxy nexus back stock

thanks for the help, but i could do this a lot easier if there were some way my mac would recognize the phone in recovery mode and i could just put a few system files on it.

When you get android sdk installed on your mac u can boot to recovery the use adb push to push it to ur sd card
