well it wouldn't show up on the manage apps section

Okay I got it all onto the phone and ready for install but after I select the maderstock from the sd card it says can't open/sdcard/maderstock340.zip (bad) Installation aborted

i would try downloading it again, may be a bad download.

I downloaded the mirror 1 and the last one on the list. I am now downloading mirror 2 hopefully that one works. I the other 2 have both said what I wrote in my last post.

How do I know if it is back to factory? In the about phone part?

it should say something about system version being 2.3.340 and you won't have super user in your app drawer anymore.

Also what happens if I do a factory reset now? I see my google email and stuff is still on it but other things look like they are back to factory.

Okay it says version 2.3.340 so it is back to factory? And Verizon can't tell?

doing a factory reset will remove all user apps but since you just did the maderstock update none of them should be there as it is. that is until they start downloading again.

ROM Manager, quick boot, Cachemate for root, is still in the apps should I delete those?

yeah i would get rid of those.
