good for you. Spending time with our ladies keeps harmony in the home

Hard to do it these days with this phone lol. Anyway if you've got everything backed up your ready to go. Got the .zip for your rom on the root of the sd?

Well as for where you should check out the droid x roms subforum that's where they are all at. As for which, that's about the only place I can't help you. Like I said I have a droid 2 so I'm not familiar with which roms are on the x. More to the point choosing a rom is really about finding out which one is right for you. So take a look in the roms section and spend some time figuring out which one is right for you.

I am downloading RubixFocused1.0 as we speak. After I download it do I connect to my computer and make sure it is on my SDcard?

Ya that'll work. And make sure its on the root of the sd card, not in any folders.

how do I move it to the root of the sd card? What am I looking for once I connect the phone to the computer and view the files? What directory?

Check in the downloads folder I think that's where it goes if you downloaded it from the phone.

Ok so now take that .zip and move it to the root of the sd card meaning not in any folders.

yes, it is done. I thank you for the time you spent helping me out. Now when I click on system updates it wont even check for them.Anyways, if I want to flash back to the verizon rom how would I do that

Congrats! Glad it worked out for you.

Remember the nandroid backup we did? That's how you can flash back to stock. So you would go into bootstrap recovery and navigate to backup/restore and choose restore. Actually I can't remember if you you have to wipe data/cache atm but I would probably do it first just to be safe.
