Poll: Random Reboots?

I am running Hedney HDS Twisted Sense rom and had the latest radio flashed and I was having 2-3 reboots a day. It was totally frustrating me. I flashed an older radio leak and viola the reboots are gone. There is a list of radios on XDA and I flashed the second one on the list to correct my reboots. (in case anyone wanted to know).

Well I followed along on this boat. I flashed the second radio on the list but it seems like the sending and receiving of messages is much slower then usual.

Stock

Just wanted to collect some data on random reboots people may or not be having. I seem to have them every other day or so and can't seem to find the cause.

Please post Rom, Kernel, rooted or just plain stock. Maybe we can track this down to something specific.

I'm Stock.....:)

Hummmm I am not having that issue. What rom are you running??? How did you install the new radio (not the one you just did but the one before)?

And why do people post non-relevant info about their non-TB phones in a TB poll on a TB forum?

The power button on my D1 doesn't work.

For the Thunderbolt; I have only had one, it was right after I installed Das Bamf. I have since went back to stock rooted and have been fine

I am running the newest version of Das BAMF, 1.6.3. I went ahead and did a brand new install. I read the thread about not having to do a wipe before and you can just install over and for the first time I actually did (never have done this before always went with a fresh install even with the PITA it is sometimes.) and lol well look what happens lol From now on I will always be doing a wipe either way. I always seem to be the few and far between that have the problems sometimes when installing over an old version. I seem to running stable now with it on a fresh install and I installed a radio version I found that people were saying was supposed to be more stable (less reboots) and knock on wood as far as I know I haven't had one yet. :icon_ banana::wacko::clap::icon_rolleyes:
I installed both radios the same through the bootloader with the SD card P0blahblah.zip like all the other ones I have done and it says it works hahaha

I had somewhere between 4 and 10 random reboots (most of them overnight, but a couple while using it) on stock, and I had another 10 or so on my first BAMF builds (1.5), some of which with the LeanKernel which seemed to cause me issues. So far with BAMF no theme 1.6.2, I haven't had a single reboot. I had one odd occurrence where the phone screen was stuck on, or something, after a voice call at work, and the whole phone lost about 30-40% battery and was running very warm. Otherwise it's been doing pretty well. Battery is still suspect--I got 2 full days last weekend on wifi with light use, but on a regular work day I'm at 10-40% by the time I get home...although that's not really a whole lot different than the OG Droid, maybe a bit worse. Getting the extended battery 50% off sometime today or tomorrow after a call in to VZW.

When I was running the leaked update I had 2-3 random reboots a day. I reflashed the stock image and haven't had one since.

I almost posted a comment pertaining to my D1 in here, simple because I answered the poll from the homepage. I didn't even check to see what forum this poll was in before voting. Others have probably made the same mistake. Just my two cents.

Well I decided to attempt another rom before changing radios just to see what happened. Loaded up Blackhole with Adrynalyn's kernel. Been about 24 hours so far without a reboot. We will see. So far there hasn't been anything specific that we can nail this down to. I was, and still am hopeful that its software related, but maybe there is something in the hardware that the unlucky few got.
