another reason it's BS is it shows 6Mbps download speeds but it take 10 seconds to down load a 5 MB app, so i wonder what the real speed of the network is?
If my math is correct thats 500Kbps not 6 Mbps. But what do i know i am just a consumer.
Charlotte, NC I had 32.35 Mbps on my first test so I was pleased to say the least. The next day 25 miles north in Mooresville I still was getting 17 Mbps on 3 bars.
The lower speeds are all on servers in Colorado - Even local servers in Denver seem to max out between 3-4Mbps. Sites in Dallas, ABQ, Chicago can give me well north of 10Mbps!
What does it mean if your ping is horrible? I live in cleveland and would get like 22 down in the thick of the 4g zone. This week I had to come to Colorado springs for a business trip. Even in a covered area according to the map I get like 4 down and a ping of 250ish. Also only have 2 to 3 signal bars
