Post your 4G LTE Speeds & location

Bigzigg remember when you speed test it is showing you kiloBITs per second, not bytes... 8 bits = 1 byte

another reason it's BS is it shows 6Mbps download speeds but it take 10 seconds to down load a 5 MB app, so i wonder what the real speed of the network is?

If my math is correct thats 500Kbps not 6 Mbps. But what do i know i am just a consumer.

You are confusing MB with Mb. B is for bytes b is for bits. At 6 Mbps 10 secs for 5 MB is about right

Charlotte, NC I had 32.35 Mbps on my first test so I was pleased to say the least. The next day 25 miles north in Mooresville I still was getting 17 Mbps on 3 bars.

Thanks for clearing that up for me it still does not explain why i get better speeds from a server that is 3000 km away than one that is 3 km away.

Just got home and ran using wifi:

Location Atlanta
ping - 61
download - 11281
upload - 1481

Not bad for 3:40 in the afternoon, but still not the numbers attained with 4G.

What does it mean if your ping is horrible? I live in cleveland and would get like 22 down in the thick of the 4g zone. This week I had to come to Colorado springs for a business trip. Even in a covered area according to the map I get like 4 down and a ping of 250ish. Also only have 2 to 3 signal bars

Speedtest app just updated, claims more accurate 4G speed testing. Before update I was getting 9 down, now I'm getting 15!
