Hopefull long enough to fit in a little snowboarding but I dont know how I could continue to snowboard if I knew there is a beach with the perfect waves below

Ya we pretty much are the blizzard capital. We are supposed to get another 4 to 5 inches today. We have lake effect snow warnings like every day

Man here in New Hampshire we haven't gotten any snow where I live. The mountains have some snow, all the ski resorts are nearly fully open. I just moved back to New Hampshire this past year after living in Virginia Beach for 6 years and they have seen more snow than we have up here. Kinda bummed. Hopefully we get a nice storm before Christmas. The one downside is my 300 foot driveway. Thankfully I have a sweet snowblower that does the work for me.

LOL stand up paddle on snow! right now since its winter season the waves hit up to only 15-18 ft.

Wow that's still decent waves compared to the east coast waves of 4-6ft. What are the waves during the peak out the in the islands? I would think NH would get poured with snow

this winter too early yet. normal is about 15-25 ' . last winter was super huge. multiple times we've reached 50 - 60' swells. big events happened here. the Eddie Aikau contest happened and waves must be minimum 35' - 40' for it to be held. it was on national news and I believe u can google it

Wow that's a major contest in the surfing community. Huge waves and it would be my luck I would fall 4 stories off the wave haha but HI sounds like an overall great state even tho I know its expensive to live out there.

No normally we get nailed, our biggest storms seem to come in February. Generally we would have had one decent storm by now, other than a couple flurries we haven't gotten anything. The mountains are north so they don't break up too much of the weather pattern.

The mountains here in nc break up almost everything except the big storms or storms from the gulf. I imagine yall will put snow blowers to use atleast once this winter haha
