no, it's like they use my lawn as a road, they travel the same path everyday. They will sit around for a few minutes before they move on to the neighbors yard.

Lol that's actually kinda funny. I haven't ever seen turkeys except for while I'm hunting for them out in the wild and I don't really get a chance to study the habits of them. The only I have seen them in a large group is while I have been spot lighting at night on our hunting clubs land. Amazing how animals change from day to night.

Also heads up to everyone in the southeast who has plants that are easily cold hurt bring them on in. The southeast will have a couple cold nights. Other than that everyone stay safe out there

@OTR I would be fattening those turkeys up for the holidays.

@ChevyBoyz It's supposed to get into the lower 30's tonight. I have a feeling it may be a cold winter.

@OTR lovee gobble-gobbles :-) . @chevy...hi my friend...we ve been busy here with a little early snow. Will post some pix when I get my son to send me his...was 10 days without power and had no juice in the phone for pix. Ten trees hit my sons house and landed all over the place. We lost 2 freezers full of meat, but none of us were hurt and he and family with 5 month old son stayed warm with generator at his sister in law. We and mom and her nurse stayed at shelter in the high school and they gave us a place to sleep and food so we were ok. I still love snow but not the destruction it brings when it comes while leaves still on the trees. Will ttys..stay warm and happy..Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Yeah, those are some awesome pictures Truss. Love the sunrise picture.

Wow truss beautiful pics. That might be wallpaper material there.

It was a bluebird day here and a great day for hiking down by one of the many dams on the Tar River.

Man Truss and Chevy rolling with some awesome pics. I am going to have to jump in here once and a while, maybe post some things too.

And Chevy, haven't seen you around much lately, hope everything is going well with you.

@jsm: Been tryin to put in as many hours as I can at work before the winter season. Landscaping doesn't fair too well in the winter months. Got to get a little saved up for the months with no work. Anyway I hope everyone is doing good your way. Also I'm gonna try to be back in the community more often as work slows down.

@rlil: Now that's where I would like to be hiking. I love hiking up in the mountains. The Appilachian Trail is on my list to hike. I hope to hike it within the next 3 years. I just am in the process of building my skills in bushcraft and survival
