PowerAMP and built in music controls

Just a quick question before I drop $5 on this app (which I could return in 15 minutes, but still wanted to ask first)... Will the built in volume rocker to switch tracks work with poweramp or any other non stock music application?

Well I didn't realize there was a trial version, so I got that and for anyone wondering, yes the volume button track seeker works.... and this app is awesome!
