Thanks for your tip. I was having the same problem seeing my order on my account. I called and as soon as it answered it prompted me to take down the tracking number without having to hold and speak to an agent. It will be here Friday. I called fedex and had the package held at my local depot. I have an appointment on Friday during delivery hours to my home so I will be picking it up...Thanks again
All I did was say that my new company doesn't use the same push exchange for mail that is compatible with my current phone (which was the Incredible that I got in April). And yes, I knew this was BS.
Renewed my contract and pow... new phone on the way.
I don't get it... I ordered mine before midnight on Monday (11/08/10) night, a few minutes before it should've gone on sale.
I received an order confirmation email.
Then Tuesday (11/09/10) I received an email saying that due to high demand my order was delayed but was expected to ship no later than Wednesday (11/11/10).
I called up Verizon yesterday and they told me it was all misprints and typos and no Droid Pros are shipping now, nothing you can do about it, they won't ship until the 18th. I spent about an hour on the phone with them, but they kept telling me the same thing.
So how is it that some people are showing shipping on theirs? Especially where they ordered them after I ordered mine?
Has anyone gotten theirs?

They ARE shipping them. My order was at 7:50am EST on 11/09 and my tracking number shows it being deliver tomorrow. Probably would have had it today but I think Fed Ex observes Veterens Day, unlike my company.
Wonder if their system is messed up. I still can not pull my order up online. The only way I got the tracking number was by calling them.

I'm getting mine in a few hours... But, I did order mine through a rep. The rep said "Let me check availability. Oh, we have like a million of them." Its seems that everyone that ordered on-line got SOL for a week.
I'm on the phone with them now. They're telling me it makes no difference when I ordered it, it will ship somewhere between when I ordered it and the 18th, and the email saying it would ship no later than the 10th is meaningless. I can't begin to explain how angry I am right now.
If it doesn't matter, then cancel your online order and re-order with a rep on the phone. On another thread this was the recommendation of a VZW CSR.
They just told me my order had processed yesterday, then 5 minutes later told me that the online order team was going to try to make sure it processes today and hopefully ships today for delivery tomorrow.
It's ridiculous. I have 6 lines with Verizon, I've upgraded the others over time but this one, my personal line, I haven't upgraded in 4 years, I go and order this phone the minute it appears online, and then this BS for treatment?

You'll be surprised by how many people would want this. As a matter of fact, I'd pick it up if it had at least 3.5" display. The portrait keyboard is what is gonna make it sell. Its a blackberry, except better.

I agree, the only thing holding me back is the screen size. I will need to see one and compare it to my Droid2 before I order. I don't play many games and primarily use the phone for email, text, browsing, twitter and Kindle so I think it mostly comes down to how much text can fit on the screen.
Assuming the keyboard is good that is...

This device is aimed right for BB users.... I personally know a few who have not left BB solely because of the form factor of their BB... this is a direct marketing attempt.
Was at Verizon earlier to look at the new releases. The pro was very nice. I liked it a lot even thought I don't really care for BB's. I think I like it more because first its an android phone and second it has the touch screen and the keyboard. In my opinion it would be great for BB converts.
