Pre orders STARTING tomorrow..

I just pulled the trigger on mine. Estimated delivery date of 9/18. Decided to go with 32gb storgae, black face, red leather and champagne accent. The blue accent was causing my delivery date to be 10/2, luckily I didn't really care too much about the accent color. I am pretty excited about this phone and getting back to an unlocked device that I can actually tinker with and enjoy. Hoping the dev community for this phone is plentiful!

I think I'm about to pull the trigger on this. My MAXX is doing good but I need a change.

Still waiting to see if I can get financing from Moto, but I've decided to let that be my deciding factor. If they approve me, I'm getting the phone. If not, I'll be waiting. Got too many expenses coming up to justify buying it outright. Trip home for Thanksgiving, Christmas, renewal of plates and insurance on one car...But, with easy, manageable payments, I'd love this phone.

I'm really looking to get a more pure experience as well, even though I'll likely never install a ROM or anything on it. I like the little additions that Moto's added as well. I have Sammy's flashlight widget one homescreen away from my main one, but just being able to do a chop motion when I need the light quick will be awesome in itself.

What's holding me back is, I have a working phone. Why do I "need" this one? What will this one do that, my MAXX doesn't?

It may not be a question of what will it DO, but what will it do BETTER. You're a stronger man than me if you can give into that reasoning. Haha! My Note 4 works alright as well, but I'm ready to ditch Sammy and have a new toy. Even though there are things this one does that my Sammy doesn't, just because of the different OEM, I definitely don't NEED a new phone, but I fully believe I'll be more satisfied with this one for longer, especially since I swore my next device would be more stock android BEFORE I got sucked into the Note 4.

However, as I've said in this thread, I intend on buying the 64GB version just to make sure this one lasts me. This one will have to be my device for at least 2 years. Now that I'm married with a stepson, I can't afford to swap phones like I used to and still pay full price for them, so this is my last hurrah of jumping much sooner than I NEED to. Haha

I have to be vigilant. I impulse buy cars and trucks so this sub $600 phone is a drop in the bucket compared to what I normally drop. Sadly, I'm questioning this but not the GT350 I'm looking at buying. Something is seriously wrong with me.

edit - I think it's because I can't play with it and see if I like the feel and ergonomics. I tested out the S6 for about an hour. It didn't feel right in my hands.

Moto's got the same 14-day return policy if you don't like it...

I'm preparing myself for the news that the debt relief program I'm almost done with has messed with my credit enough that I can't even order one, but knowing that ship dates are starting to get pushed back, maybe I'll get approved right away and still have to wait to get the device. That's about how my luck works. Worth the wait to me to get what I want though.

I just bought an S6 at release, so I by no means need a new phone. The S6 just isn't as great as I thought it might be. Guess that's what I get for going the iPhone rip-off route. :p But really, the larger screen is probably the biggest draw for me. I am a huge fan of large screens, and I think it's time to go back to that world.
