PRIVACEY: I want it at all costs. How to set permissions like Blackberry?

I cant get the recovery to work in command line, permission denied. Do I need I need to use command line more mac centric?

A-Ss-Mac-mini-2:android as$ /Android/recovery-ra-vigor-3.16-gnm.img fastboot reboot-bootloader
-bash: /Android/recovery-ra-vigor-3.16-gnm.img: Permission denied
A-Ss-Mac-mini-2:android as$

I will try that. I am seeing that I may need to use a "./" before the fastboot command?

Also, do I need to have USB debugging turned on?

It all depends on where fastboot is. If it's in the same directory then yes. Also, your phone will need to be in the bootloader so USB debugging on/off won't matter.

I did need to use the ./ bit...

Thank you Mr. Smith! I have a rooted rezound now and am a very happy person! The help you provided has been invaluable to me!
