Problem removing widgets

I installed the Weather Channel App and Weatherbug app to compare which one I like. When I uninstalled the apps..the place where the widget was now says "problem removing widget" and dragging them to the the trash can does not work. Any ideas?? I cannot uninstall the apps since they are no longer in the application list.

Problem removing widget

I would download Adv Task Manager and then go the "Uninstall" and see if it is on that list and simply delete the program.

If that does not work and you still have a problem. Another solution might be to download AppManager. Back up all your settings (use menu).

Then go to "Settings", "Privacy", (Make sure Back up my settings is checked) and then do a "Factory data reset" (like doing a computer reboot) and then just follow instructions.

P.S. I like "Weather Channel" better.

I would try re-installing the offending app and removing the widgets before uninstalling this time.

Put the widget in the trash BEFORE removing the app. It will work fine
