Problem using Bluetooth headsets

Hello Forum,

In trying both a just purchased Jawbone ICON & a LG HBM-210, I am having no problem pairing to my DROID RAZR M. I can press to call & I can answer a call, but I can not hear anything or be heard. I tried calling my voicemail I heard nothing while set to "bluetooth" , but heard as should in either "speaker" or "handset" selections.

I returned the Jawbone, thinking it was defective, but then tried using the LG HBM-210 with my Blackberry Curve & it worked no problem.

I am wondering if I cleared out the Bluetooth devices on the DROID, would it make a difference?
- currently the RAZR sees 3 devices being the Blackberry 9300, Jawbone ICON, & LG HBM-210
- also, I can NOT figure out how to remove the bluetooth devices on the RAZR

You should be able to long press the device name and tap remove.

You have 2 threads going on the same subject so things can get confusing.

1. Thank you for the advice on the long press on the device name to remove. That worked & i did remove both Jawbone & LG headsets.

2. I sent to the 2 threads (Tech Support & End-User Forum), wondering which may be better approach.

3. Note that even after removing LG (I sent Jawbone back), it pairs, it can do incoming & outgoing, but I cannot hear or be heard !!!

Have you checked device bluetooth settings when paired? Does it say phone and media are checked for sync?

I have to call myself a novice user, as these steps are not so intuitive for me (lol)...

I am not sure if I know how to "check device bluetooth settings..."

-- when I do a long press of the crank/wheel , I see :
-- Rename : LG HBM-210
-- Unpair
-- Profiles - Phone audio : Use for phone audio (this has a check mark)

NEW ADD'L Question Please :

Is it possible that my headset issue has anything to do with a Android Update?
-- I've seen where some are having trouble with "jellybean" , etc...
-- I've not wanted to move to that platform by choice, but wonder what if ???
-- Under About Phone I see : [ System Verison: 98.15.66 XT907.Verizon en.US ] , [ Android version: 4.1.2 ] , [ Build Number: 9.8.1Q-66 ]
