I don't believe so. At this point, though, it's really not a problem for me. My mistake was in originally thinking that a light touch was required to avoid 'activating' a function, when in practice I learned that just the opposite is the case - a firm touch is required if you don't want to activate...
I tried and finally gave the Incredible up. I found myself calling people over and over again and not realizing it because I swiped a number by accident. Next thing I knew...my phone was "talking" to me. Needless to say, my friends were getting quite impatient with this...lol. I am now waiting for the arrival of the Droid X to replace the Incredible. With the larger keyboard and the swipe system for texting, I think that I will have a better chance of handling the phone. One can only hope....(sigh!)
