Problem with wierd facebook event

so apparently there was a facebook event that was spam. It was labeled XBOX 360 christmas giveaway H T T P : xbox-4-xmas.info I certainly didnt say yes to attending this event but it showed up on my droid x calendar anyways. I went to facebook to remove or decline the event and they had already removed it as spam. But my phone still has the event everyday till december 24'th when i hit the menu button on the event the only thing i get is the ability to add reminder. I cannot delete the event. GRRRRR. anyone have this problem or know of a way to delete this event? It seems to be stuck in some type of limbo.

I got an invitation to it as well.I deleted it out of my gmail,I dont have anything tied together social site wise..,It is gone off my calender....maybe unsync or remove your username from your acct,and resync it?
