PS3 headset as headphone?

Is this possible with the Droid? I can use the PS3 headset to make calls so far. Some guy at work has a Samsung Impression and cheap bluetooth and is able to hear all his phones audio through it.

Edit: I paired the ps3 bluetooth headset to his impression. I could hear the movie that was playingon it. So why cant the droid do this?
