I'm using moto droid (2.1!) rooted with overclock and have had no problems with any roms loaded so far.

Mega man X4: Little choppy sometimes but no slower than on ps1

Final Fantasy VII: Runs amazingly

DBZ Legends(Japan): Runs fluid slows down a bit when everyone on screen is shooting crap everywhere.

Street Fighter Ex plus Alpha: Runs choppy unless cpu is at 11,000mghz. Dangerous


Crash Bandicoot Warped: Beautiful no probs

Should I be worried if I'm running at 8 - 9,000 mghz and my temp goes up to 110 degrees F?

Twisted Metal 4- after the new update (which added r2 and l2 buttons) this game's playabillity is outstanding, however sound is really good sometimes and ok others, and also only takes up top half of droid screen for some reason, but hopefully new update it will be fixed.

GrandTurismo 1 - automatic trans does NOT work? not with virtual or real keys - steering with virtual keys is impossible!!

007Racing - Can not get passed the load screen, anyone else able to get it to work?

Destruction Derby 2 - Pine Hill Race way does not work but another track and the demolition derby do work....but I do get thrown out of the game from time to time

Don't you mean 800 - 900mghz? Unless your really running your phone at 8 - 9 ghz..

Test Drive 4 wth psx4droid 1.1 and milestone @800 mhz : starts but uses just the upper half of the screen.

need for speed 4 : starts runs good without bugs but a little bit slow.

Has anyone gotten Wild Arms 1 to work. I've tried various .bins and .imgs and so far nothing. Love the game plus its an older title so i'm not sure what's the problem.

stock 2.1 rooted with chevy 1.1GHz

RE2 works and sounds great..almost no slowdown at all, unless there are a lot of zombies on the screen. Sometimes scenes with characters talking has some slowdown..absolutely playable though

RE3 actually seems to work better than RE2

Intelligent Qube only uses half the screen for me too for some reason

Crash Bandicoot works almost perfectly too..a little slowdown here and there but nothing bad

I think RE games would play better than most, since the only things in 3D are the characters and zombies, and everything else are static 2D backgrounds.

The speed and sound is noticeably better when going from 900Mhz to 1Gz and from 1Ghz to 1.1Ghz too. When I play at 1.1Ghz, the battery temp gets up to 40C, or 104F, but I only play for about a half hour at a time.

Droid with Cynagen 6 RC 1 with market fix Rom on top with a 1.2ghz Tom from jrlk (or something like that)

NFS3 works great very playable!!!
Carmageddon works pretty good too but have not played more than a min or two so far.

I'm running Motor Droid rooted 2.0. Games are working but extremely slow. Castlevania Chronicles crashes at main menu.

droid bugless beast .4 @ 800mhz
since nobody has mentioned it yet, ff8 works great. quite playable, but the sound is iffy. i would give it an "ok". it is entirely playable, and enjoyable at that, but there are MAJOR slowdowns at the worldmap, which i do not think will be fixed with just a simple higher kernal.

can we start something up that lets people know how well its running with different kernals?
