Guys what FF7 did you get that works? Mine works until the beginning cut scene at this one part just freezes there, ONLY the picture but the sound is still going. Any suggestions?
Froze at the same spot twice so it is that spot.

ill say this about final fantasy 7, it runs great, except for a few pretty large problems. i beat the game yesterday, playing as much as i could on my phone, but there was one part i had to play on my pc due to freezing. the submarine completely didnt work, it would freeze every time i would dive underwater and you need to do at least 2 things underwater in the game. also, the last video is tiny and scrunched up at the top for some reason, which is odd cause every other video in the game worked flawlessly.

do different formats of a game (.bin, pbp, etc. ) have better performance than others? or do they all run the same?

Does anyone notice when you use eboot format (pbp) that it takes a second or two longer to boot up?

Hmm I just noticed that you can combine games that take multple discs into one eboot file. Has anyone tried this to see if it works okay?

is there a way to use a save file from the internet?
psx4droid uses .ss# files and i downloaded .gme save file

Nevermind just tried FFVII and it would not load. That sucks but oh well.

No you cannot uses saves from a different emu! BUT Instead of getting save states..
Get a memory card file and you will be able to use that I think.

I'm not sure where psx saves has the mem pak at though..

Ok so my sound works good.. But everyone seems to complain about the ps1 sound.

BUT all my ps1 games have the music ripped outta em. But my resident evil and all that stuff sound perfect and run great.

Does your games work fine.

a few days ago I rooted my droid and installed a 1.2ghz kernel and tried out the emulator and the results are amazing....

So far its been 4 days playing with emulators at 1.2ghz and my droid has not had not ONE freeze up or problems overheating but the speed is incredible. I'm still testing roms so far Resident Evil 2 and Grand Tourismo 2 are fun as hell to play with no video lag what so ever yet the sound does give problems my guess its the emulator. Other than that thanks a million to the devs behind this emulator! dancedroid

The memory cards are located in a folder on the sd card called .psx4droid. You can use memory card files from elsewhere if they are in mcr format. You just have to rename them to the same filename as the memory cards located in that folder. I imported my memory cards from ePSXe and can confirm it works.
