Puting music on to the Droid X

Ok well I have tried all of the programs suggested to put music on the phone and they all end up with the phone freezing. I don't know if there is something wrong with the handset or if it is just file corruption of some sort. I know about the factory reset and was just wondering if there is a way to back up what i already have on my phone so that i will not have to start over again.

I've been using iSyncr to sync my iTunes playlists to my X. It even maintains playcount and skipcount so I can keep my iTunes smart playlists. Worked much better for me than Doubletwist.

Another option is to go to the verizon website and get the media manager software. I have had pretty good luck with it, its fast and pretty easy to use. Good luck!

I need help asap with usb

when I plug in my droid x into my pc using the usb cable it goes straight to a photo uploading window. I cant find the phone on any of the music programs including itunes and windows media player. How do I get my pc to read my phone so I can put my music on? Thanks!

Just setup a regular iTunes playlist like you would for an iPod/iPhone. Nothing special 'for the droid'.

Yes, it downloads to your SD card. When you attach your Droid to your computer, navigate to your SD card from your computer and execute the iSyncr.exe file. This will open up a new program.

Yes..after you locate the SD card, locate the iSyncr.exe file and double-click on it to open it.

Once your Droid is connected you'll be able to navigate to the SD card on your PC. Then just click on the iSyncr icon which should be in your root directory. The program will then start and walk you thru the steps.

Have you tried putting your x in computer mode. That gives you a neat little interface, but I just use double twist. Also why not use a dedicated podcast app to manage your podcast like beyondpod or dogg catcher

but it wont automatically sync the itunes playlists when connected to the usb right?
