(Q) How to start a donate/paypal thread for P3Droid

Ok. So I've been talking extensively with a guy on this forum that has an X2 that he's willing to part with for P3Droid. I misunderstood him at first and thought we was just giving it away. If only we were that lucky

So this is where we are. We need someone to set up a paypal/donate account to get this going. I am unsure of how to do this, and I want to make sure everything is legit and so forth. If anyone has ANY experience with this, or has done it before, please chime in.

I will throw down the second it is up. Moderators, if I am out of line here let me know. I just want some d**n development on this thing and will donate a part of my paycheck to make it happen. I know I am not alone on this either.

Someone give a brother a hand and help me with the next step.

I believe you can go to MyDroidWorld and donate directly to P3droid.....

Anyone with a bank account and an email address can set up a paypal account. They just need to log on and do it. I couldn't find one on MyDroidWorld for P3Droid, but he must have one somewhere. However, our mission her is to pay this anonymous member to "donate" his X2 to P3Droid, right? So are we sending $ to P3Droid, so he can buy the phone off the anon member? Or, are we paying the anon member, who will ship the phone to P3?

Mistawolfe- Have we gotten this guy to agree to a certain dollar amount? Are we sure we can work this out?

I've set up a website with protected donations through paypal. However, I won't go live with it until we have the final details worked out. Because it's gonna cost 4.95% of total donations and .30 cents a transaction to fund the website. So unless we are sure, I'm not going to start accepting donations.

Just so everyone understands. On DF we don't allow donate link for anyone other than official devs and themers. And on top of that you cannot have a donate link for someone else. So if is set up any links will have to be sent through pm's.

I hear ya.....and wish you the best of luck. I know how you guys feel, I'm getting the D3 tomorrow and am hoping for the devs to jump on it too. Good luck guys.
