I have a stock rooted g2 on 4.2.2 . Do I need to unroot before getting the update that I have frozen with TB ? I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times but hard to search very well on my phone.
Thanks
If you intend to take an update OTA yes, you'll need to return to stock first. Your best bet is to hold tight. Developers will release an update for rooted users so you can simply flash the update instead having to return to stock and go through the whole process again. Have you checked the XDA forums to see if they've already done this? Being that you're on an older device, this may have already updated rooted G2 users to 4.4.4. That's where I'd start first.
Good luck!
