I just made that change.
For me, the LG G2 has a better screen, good battery life, nice UI look, and some additional useful features.
That said, I use my phone a lot in the car. NO manufacturer comes close to the quality accessories Motorola makes. The available car docks for the LG are very poor, do not trigger Car mode, and if they did, the Car mode app on the G2 is pretty pathetic compared to what I had on the RAZR MAXX. I now have to run an ugly 3rd party market app and a bulky "universal" holder that requires me to plug in the charger (meaning outside of the holder) activate the car mode app myself, and activate the bluetooth myself. On the moto dock this is instant when you click in the phone. If however, you do not need a car dock, or use the car mode app a lot, then the superior screen of the G2 is well worth it.
p.s. Oh, and I really miss Mot's Smart Actions app. I've been looking for a similar thing on the market but everything I've found seems so complex in comparison.
p.s.s. In addition, I am experiencing some lag when using the G2 Dialer and my construction calculator app. There is a hesitation after touching a number, and if sounds are on you can her the lag before the sound is heard. However, this is not the case when just selecting options.
