"quicktext"

On my LG EnV3, there was a feature called "quicktext," where I could save blocks of text to be pasted into text messages at a later time. I had some ASCII text art I would send to my gf on rainy days. I'd like to get my Droid Pro set up to do the same, but I can't figure out how to copy and paste stuff into the txt.

Also, it's long, so this method would need to retain the artwork after sending so it could be sent again and again. I have Quickoffice, where I can type and save documents, but I can't seem to figure out how to copy it to the clipboard for later pasting.

Ideas?
