Just imagine the modified Droid scream they'd put on it.
One a side note, when I put CM6 on my phone they took away my Droid scream and set the default sound as Fairy Dust. When I found that out, I swear to you, I said, "When I said I wanted a Droid I didn't want C3PO."
+100 on that.
On the other hand, I'd love to see a Darth Vader themed D2 or maybe X.
If they would just give us the option of having the Rebellion or Empire emblems on the back instead of the Motorola logo, it would have a much better reception than this.
Oh, and of course they could show us how to remove the restraining bolt.
There are so many cool things they could be doing with the Star Wars franchise... this aint one of 'em.

Just got some more pics in from the Star Wars convention going on in Orlando, and it looks like the date for the R2-D2 version of the Droid 2 is going to be Sept. 30. Good news indeed for you guys waiting on the little guy.

I agree, an empire logo would be sweet, or a vader helmet on the back, i am an avid star wars fan and believe they could of came up with something other than a blue/white phone... :icon_cussing:
Lmao it's not just a blue/white phone, it's a droid 2 painted to look like r2d2 lmao. I'm still laughing at how poorly executed this idea was.

It still looks better than C3PO in Episode 1. Mannequin Skywalker might appreciate how flat and one-dimensional the pix make it look.
