So I'm on a mac, would I use the direcitions in post 1 to root my bionic. It is brand new today and would like to root soon. I had a droid 1 that I had rooted and loaded several roms onto and wireless tether but by no means have much knowledge on these other than being able to follow directions.

I rooted my Bionic and it's bugging so I'm trying to get back to factory. I didn't make a backup before I rooted, so can I still use this to get stock again or does it just restore what's backed up? Sounds dumb, I know, but the directions I followed FAILED TO TELL ME TO DO BACK UP THE STOCK ROM GRR :icon_evil:
